New acquisition for Ixxi

Ixxi acquires Setim, a company specializing in ticketing and fleet management systems.

Ixxi is continuing its development with the acquisition of Setim, which offers innovative solutions for ticketing and fleet management systems, and helps many transport authorities on their ITS solutions.
Established in Saint-Etienne and having a subsidiary in Mexico City, Setim has recognized expertise in:

  • Design and integration of ticketing systems and fleet management systems
  • Project management, consultancy and support services for technological and organizational projects for the urban and interurban transport of passengers, which it provides to small and medium-sized agglomerations.

COP22 in Marrakech, from 7th to 18th november 2016

Ixxi realizes MyCOP22, the official app of the Marrakech COP

Frontline in the fight against global warming through its BUS program in 2025, the RATP group will showcase on the occasion of COP22, the benefits of digital technology in reducing the carbon footprint of travel. The MyCOP22 application, specially developed for this event will help to show that these new services encourage eco-friendly modes of transport and promote energy efficiency.

Available in 4 languages ​​(French, Arabic, English and Spanish), it aims to support all participants and visitors who will travel to Marrakech from 7 to 18 November 2016 for the COP22. It brings together all the necessary information and services to organize, move and orient in Marrakech and on the site of Bab Ighli. There is also the official program of the COP22, with the list and locations of conferences regularly updated and a plan shuttles commissioned specially to get there. The application also allows to perform searches of online or offline routes, providing an estimate of travel time by car or shuttle, and a detailed roadmap of the course.

The MyCOP22 application provides a map of Marrakech, available without a network if it has been previously downloaded, highlighting the main points of interest of the city, such as the inevitable tourist and cultural sites, partner hotels, airports and station.

Ixxi multiplies business actions in latin america

In October, Ixxi presented its ITS solutions at the Ciudades y Transporte exibition with a special Zenway dedicated to Mexico, followed by a visit of the Bogota, Medellin and Cali transport networks as part of a delegation of MEDEF, accompanying the French Minister of Transport.

From 10 to 12 October 2016, Ixxi participated at the 12th International Congress Ciudades y Transporte in Mexico. With 9 million inhabitants located at 2240 meters above sea level, this plentiful city faces severe problems of traffic jam and pollution that promote the development of public transport and associated ITS services. During this event, Ixxi has also been visited by former President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon, current president of the Global economy and climate Commission, and several transport officials of various Mexican regions. Ixxi had the occasion to present the Zenway Mexico, dedicated to transport and city services, the company had developed for the occasion.

October 17th 2016, Ixxi went along with the delegation of the International MEDEF and Alain Vidalies, Secretary of State for Transport, for several meetings with major players of the Colombian transportation. Ixxi, as one the 30 French companies of the delegation, had the opportunity to meet the Minister of Transport of Colombia, and key interlocutors of the transport networks of Bogota, Medellin and Cali.

New information screens travelers Orlyval

New information screens travelers on the Orlyval lines

The sites of the Orlyval line is now equiped of 13 dynamic travelers information screens, allowing travelers to be better informed on the next waiting time and disruption. Spread over 3 different stations (Antony, West Orly and South Orly), the screens show first, commercial information (pricing for example) and disturbance information. Then, in the last quarter of 2016 will wait times shuttles. Ixxi adapted the administration interface messages to meet the particular needs of Orlyval. It includes new features such as the establishment of specific automated messages per screen and type of incident or creating a message library.
